Kentucky SEC Basketball Schedule Features Huge Games

The Kentucky women's basketball program released its conference slate for the upcoming season. Head coach Kenny Brooks faces a tough 16-game SEC path. The Wildcats aim to build on their recent postseason runs with a balanced league schedule split between eight home contests and eight road trips.

Kentucky starts conference play away from home on New Year's Eve in Gainesville against Florida.The Wildcats then return home to host Auburn on January 3. After a quick trip to Missouri on January 7, Kentucky returns to Lexington for a major showdown.

On January 10, the Texas Longhorns visit Historic Memorial Coliseum. Texas won the SEC tournament and knocked Kentucky out of the NCAA tournament last spring. The Wildcats host Arkansas on January 14 before enjoying their first bye week.

The Wildcats play rivalry opponent Tennessee twice in their only home-and-home series.Kentucky hosts the Lady Volunteers on January 21. The Wildcats complete the series in Knoxville on February 21.

Kentucky faces a tough road game on January 24 at Oklahoma.The team comes home to face Alabama on January 28. Kentucky ends the month on January 31 against South Carolina, the national runner-up.

February brings more tough games for Kentucky.The Wildcats host LSU on February 4 before back-to-back road games at Georgia on February 7 and Ole Miss on February 11. Kentucky hosts Vanderbilt on Monday, February 15.

After the return trip to Tennessee on February 21, Kentucky travels to Texas A&M on February 25. The Wildcats finish regular-season play at home against Mississippi State on February 28.
